Adobe Announces versions 2.3 (Android) and 2.7 (iOS)
This release includes HDR capture for compatible cameras. Subscribers to
Creative Cloud or Photography Plan have access to the selective
adjustment tools and it’s cool to be able to switch between linear and radial
filters using a single icon.Once a selective adjustment
has been added to an image, I like the ability to click the edit pin to quickly
duplicate or tweak the effect on another area of the image; simply by dragging.

Lightroom Mobile continues to
evolve in the right direction and the latest enhancements to the built-in Adobe
Camera app compliment the Professional Mode and DNG capture capability with
compatible cameras on devices such as some iPhone 6 & 7 models, Samsung Galaxy S7 and
iPad Pro 9.7. The video below demonstrates the benefits of DNG capture and how to shoot in the raw format.
I have not been able to test this new feature as my older Galaxy Note does not have a 12mp supported camera, however the ability to shoot HDR images in DNG format is unlike any other camera app.
It should be noted that capturing
in the High Dynamic Range DNG format will result in larger files requiring future
devices with more storage and sufficient RAM for processing.
